Vcad can also handle .obj files.

What is an OBJ file?

OBJ is a geometry definition file format first developed by Wavefront Technologies.
This is an open format adopted by other 3D graphics application vendors.

Starting today it is also possible to import files in .obj format into Vcad.
The OBJ file format represents only 3D geometry, i.e. the position of each vertex. OBJ coordinates have no units, but OBJ files can contain scale information in a human readable comment line.

A custom template for this type of file is under development. Also, support for more formats is on the way.
