Vcad is proud to announce its integration with Autodesk® BIM 360®, a construction management software that is part of Autodesk Construction Cloud™.
This new integration allows users to access models stored in their BIM 360 projects directly from Vcad. Now, joint customers will be able to generate advanced Microsoft® Power BI® reports and dashboards using the data and graphic elements from the IFC, Revit® and Navisworks® files that have been uploaded in BIM 360®.
Vcad can extract data from a BIM model and automatically import it into Power BI along with the model geometry. It allows all members of the team (with the required access) to consult all data present in each element of your files, to assign a color to objects by name, type or family, to animate the model by completion date and much more.
Additionally, the union of Vcad with Power BI and the Autodesk Forge® Viewer gives life to a unique tool customers can use across the construction lifecycle and for reporting purposes – leveraging models and their associated data facilitates informed decision-making during preconstruction, budgeting, project planning, construction, commissioning and close-out.
Depending on the team’s objective and structure, Vcad can be used by a variety of professionals, from VDC engineers to Project Managers as well as BIM managers, Specialists and Coordinators.
